The valves specified above were submitted to a hazard analysis according to directive 94/9/EC (ATEX) with the following result:

• The valves do not have a potential ignition source and might be actuated manually as well as otherwise mechanically / electrically
• Directive 94/9/EC (ATEX) is not applicable to these valves
• Special valves with components of material PVDF are excluded. These valves are not allowed for use in Ex -areas (electrostatic charging)
